Here at Voyager we love all things MCI, but we particularly have an affinity for their consoles.  Christopher Sikora has spent nearly a decade repairing and restoring MCI consoles of all types.  Currently in our own personal inventory alone we own a JH542c, a JH428b, and the famed JH416b.  We understand the nuances of these consoles, their feature packed circuitry, and the faults and reliability factors that come with their classic sound.  With a little extra time, solder smoke, and a reasonable budget, any MCI can last another 50 years with the right maintenance and restoration behind it.

We have extensive experience on these consoles and provide an on call mobile repair service locally in the LA/SoCal area, as well as around the US, and abroad.   We also offer phone diagnostic consultations and internet correspondence.  We have spent many years developing modern solutions for aging components, major upgrades in reliability, custom modifications, and sources for harder to find parts.  We always have a supply of vintage used and some NOS components, as well as a whole line of replacement and upgraded sub boards for most 500 series MCIs, courtesy of our partner Chris Shwayka at S.E.L.

Unfortunately while we can work on other consoles, we don't stock parts, and we do not have lots of time for outside projects. Sticking with MCI helps us maintain efficiency and expertise on these classic consoles.  That being said if you have another vintage large format analog console that needs work, you can try to reach out but we cannot promise we will be able to make time for this.  Thank you.
